I've always been fascinated by houses and buildings. Growing up in Chichester, I developed a passion for understanding how properties are built, how they perform over time and, most importantly, how defects occur.
Today, I have the privilege of turning that passion into a career that genuinely helps people make informed property decisions.
As an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a qualified residential surveyor, I specialise in helping buyers, homeowners and property investors understand the true condition of residential properties. Whether I'm inspecting a Grade II listed cottage, a modern family home or investigating a complex damp issue, my aim is always the same: to provide clear, practical and honest advice.
Over the years I have developed particular expertise in:
RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Surveys
Damp and mould investigations
Spray foam roof inspections
Defect diagnosis
Thermal imaging surveys
Residential valuations
Historic and traditional buildings
Before every inspection, I carry out extensive research into the property and its surroundings. I believe that understanding the history, construction and potential risks associated with a building is just as important as the inspection itself.
Clients often tell me that they appreciate the detail contained within my reports and the fact that I take the time to explain technical issues in straightforward language. Buying a home can be stressful, and I want every client to feel confident about their decision.
When I'm not surveying houses, you'll usually find me exploring new technology, researching building pathology or spending time with my family in and around the South Coast.
